Cosmic

What started out in a tiny corner of Christchurch’s High Street in 1997 has grown across New Zealand and become something of a cultural institution. Always staying true to the founding principles of freedom of choice and good fun, Cosmic represents many things to many people; social hub, fashion outlet, head shop, gift store, ticket stand, music venue…  It’s hard to define a store with a product range that stretches from fashion to legal highs, headphones to hacky sacks, smoking accessories to jewelry, novelty gifts to skateboards, but that’s just the way we like it – diverse, interesting and original, just like the people we employ and the customers that have made it all possible.

We love having a store in Christchurch’s city centre – it’s the home of Cosmic and where it all began. Not only does it just make good business sense, but we love seeing our regulars, the random visitors, the other retailers and the buzz of being bang in the middle of what was and will one day again be one of the world’s great cities.
