We all lead very busy stressful lives so I want our customers to focus on what fun they have in their lives instead. For example, the next range is called 'the girls guide to cocktails' which is more about fun. The autumn range which is the one we are showing at New Zealand Fashion Week is called something like `guns and roses rock chick...' While I love laughter, the ranges sometimes have names from issues I tend to grapple with in life... 'love lies bleeding,' `inside the square'... that kind of thing. I have a history degree and a fashion diploma. I spent a year in Japan teaching English. I ride horses, swim, do yoga, play pool and do life drawing and boogie board... someday I hope to have the time to become an artist. I am fascinated by all aspects of my business and am constantly challenged to do the best I can. I always think that being a business owner is the best way to find out about yourself - what holds you back, what drives you forward, how to push the right buttons to keep you and the business moving forward and growing.
