Trade Aid
Trade Aid's origins can be traced back to 1969, when a Christchurch couple responded to an advertisement in The Press, which called for an advisor for a resettlement scheme for Tibetian refugees in India.
Today, Trade Aid has 30 stores nationawide selling handcrafted arts, crafts and food items - all being Fair Trade. These products improved the livelyhoods and wellbeing of disadvantaged producers and speak out for greater justice in the World Trade.
