Hi everyone.

I would like to thank all those who have contacted me letting me know they will be taking part in the Boxing Day Replay promotion. I have to say the promotion has gained an entire life of its own and seems to have reached many people out in the community already thanks to the media helping get the message out.

We have a big year ahead with the Rugby World Cup and the Tram Extension project to be completed by July this year not to mention the rebuild of many Christchurch buildings post the quakes. We will all have to work hard and support each other to ensure we come out the other end in good shape. This will not be easy but in business, very few things are. We are working on some other initiatives to assist you to do better business and function better as a community. I will look forward to discussing these with you all in the year ahead. In the meantime, keep up the good work.

Boxing Day (Replay) Promotion - Saturday 12 Feb

Some businesses state they will bring outdated and excess product from around NZ to Christchurch central city to be discounted on the Boxing Day (Replay)promotion. I have spoken with CPIT and they are looking to bring in their Circo Art performers to add some colour and life to the streets. I would be keen to hear from you if you are planning anything special for the day.

Christchurch Women's Refuge

They are planning a pamper day - an opportunity for Canterbury women to treat themselves post earthquake on our Boxing Day Replay promotional day. They received a huge donation of all-new clothes and lingerie from Under Wear, an Australian company, after one of their Nelson consultant wanted to do something to help Canterbury women after the earthquake and after so many families had to leave their homes with little or nothing. They will be setting up this pamper day inside the Shades Arcade. It is great to have on board for our promotion and thanks for supporting the community.
