I walked the streets today to give you all a full update of the current state of play in the city.
Businesses open, under a cordon and currently closed
- New Regent Street is fully open for trading
- Poplar/ Ash Streets are open for trading
Cashel Street
Cashel Street, City Mall from Colombo through to Oxford Tce is still closed. We are expecting an update on this cordon at 4pm today. It is likely the cordon will be reduced to allow pedestrian traffic through but there may be restrictions and cordons around some of the buildings along this section of city mall.
Ballantynes is expecting to open for business tomorrow.

- There has been no work carried out on 160 Manchester demolitions since Dec 24th.
